All FAQs When does an office need an A3 color printer?
When you regularly print menus, brochures, posters, or drawings bigger than A4.
A3 is 29.7 × 42 cm, twice the size of A4. For small, frequent color runs, an Epson ink printer costs less. For high volume, choose an A3 toner machine.
How much is a color printer rental a month?
ASG’s color printer rental price depends on the machine, paper size, and color page quota.
A4 color from Rp 888,000 a month, A3 color from Rp 1,250,000, excluding VAT, with 1,000 black-and-white + 100 color pages included. We send a written quote by WhatsApp or email.
How is color printing counted?
Each ASG rental contract has a monthly quota of black-and-white pages and color pages.
A page counts as color if it has any color on it, however small, such as a logo. For example a quota of 3,000 black-and-white and 300 color pages.
Above the quota, Rp 1,500 per color page.
Can I switch from black and white to color mid-contract?
You can discuss it with ASG.
Some of our clients have swapped a black-and-white unit for an A3 color machine when their needs changed. We add a contract amendment and the rental fee follows the new machine, with no swap fee.
Can it print color on thick paper?
On most ASG color machines, yes, but the paper weight limit differs by model. Send the paper type you usually use on WhatsApp and we’ll check it against the machine specs before quoting.
Is the color good enough for graphic design?
For design and technical drawings, ASG suggests the Kyocera MZ2501ci or MZ3501ci at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi (equivalent to 4,800 x 1,200). For menus and documents, an A4 color printer is enough.
Can my logo color stay the same every time?
ASG keeps color consistent through the machine and driver color settings. For a logo with a special color, send the logo file. The technician tunes the machine and prints a sample at installation.
What happens if the machine breaks down?
Message ASG on the hotline number on your machine’s sticker.
We’ll walk you through it by chat or video call first, which often fixes it.
If it doesn’t, contract clients in Bali, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo get a technician within 3 hours of reporting, during business hours.
A rented machine that can’t be fixed within 2 hours is swapped the same day.
Can I print from a Mac, an iPhone, and the office network?
Yes, every printer and multifunction machine in the ASG catalog supports AirPrint, so you can print from a Mac, iPhone, or iPad. Our technician connects the machine to your office network during installation, with free cabling up to about 10 meters.
